Volunteer Ambassadors play a pivotal role in helping to assist The Sheridan Story staff during packing events.
They help to oversee and manage large groups of volunteers in making sure that the operations of the packing event run smoothly and the volunteers feel welcomed during their time.
Volunteer Ambassadors help to represent the brand of The Sheridan Story and ensure other volunteers feel valued. A large part of the role is answering questions and being flexible. Volunteer Ambassadors must be at least 16 years old and required training will be provided. An application and background check (paid for by The Sheridan Story) is also required.
Time requirement is as follows: 6 hours/month; 10 months out of the year (Sept-June). There are both day time and evening Volunteer Ambassador opportunities!
The Sheridan Story staff will be at each event to work alongside you.
