The Sheridan Story is a community-driven organization. As such, we are grateful for the local organizations that are implementing a weekend food program in their local schools. Thank you for your work!
We have heard from many of these organizations and there are two themes that have emerged: (1) their programs take a lot of their staff time and resources, and (2) the schools often need support beyond the capacity of the local organization.
Every local community, organization, and program is different. Therefore, we approach any partnership relationally, discussing how best to work together and move forward as partners.
Several existing programs have joined our network, as we are uniquely equipped to efficiently and effectively implement weekend food programs. The Sheridan Story’s goal is to support these programs operationally while encouraging the local relationships to stay with the local partner.
We would love to talk more about your specific program, potential needs, and how we may be able to partner. We are open to partnerships anywhere in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
